Default Absorption for Armor

I am a Gladitor and just finished Factions. I will be upgrading armor from Tyria and have a couple of questions: Will I need to get the new armor infused again? I use Knights leggings for absorption. If I use a superior rune of absorption, will that stack with the leggings? I also use a shield with -2 absorption. Will they all work together or is it overkill?

Thanks

unless you're going to go back to Tyria to fight the Mursaats again in new armor then no but you intend to fight them then yes
the Knight's armor absorb bonus stacks with the superior rune of aborption but not with other knight armor or ascalon armor pieces.
also the -2 absorption from your shield also stacks with your armor and your rune
also you can get a -5(20% chance) shield in Cantha instead of the -2 guarantee

Manzo can craft it in Kaineng for both Strength and Tactics. It rocks! both have 16 Armor and +30 Hp.

Knight's armour does stack with the rune but absorbtion runes only apply to attack damage. People typically use boots or gloves for knights because they help reduce the impact of the lower armour. You get the same absorbtion bonus regardless of where the knights is or how many pieces you have of it so it's better in a location that gets the least numbers of hits. Boots would be better so that you have the choice to use Stonefist gauntlets.

Infusion only affects your defense vs. Mursaat but if you want to infuse it again load up on henches and run it. The henches will probably die during the run but will get ressed at the cutscene.

id say best armor combo is: glads body, glads pants, berserker/stonefist gauntlets, knights boots.
